3 Ways to Pray for the Supreme Court This Month

Every month, the U.S. Supreme Court takes on decisions that have far-reaching effects—on our laws, our culture, and our lives as believers. As intercessors, we have a unique opportunity to pray with focus, faith, and authority. Here are three strategic ways you can pray for the Court this month.

1. Pray for Personal Encounters with Christ

Lift up each justice by name, asking God to meet them in personal, undeniable ways. Pray for divine appointments, dreams, and moments of clarity. Ask the Lord to surround them with truth-filled voices and to stir spiritual hunger in their hearts.

Scripture to Pray: *“The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.” – Proverbs 21:1*

2. Pray for Righteous Judgments Rooted in Truth

Ask God to guide the justices to decisions that uphold biblical values and constitutional integrity. Pray against confusion, manipulation, and fear. Declare that every ruling this month would align with truth, justice, and mercy.

Scripture to Pray: *“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you.” – Psalm 89:14*

3. Pray for Protection, Unity, and Courage

Intercede for physical, emotional, and spiritual protection over the justices and their families. In a divided and often hostile culture, pray that they would be shielded from harm and pressure. Ask God to release unity where there’s division, and courage where there’s fear.

Scripture to Pray: *“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid… for the Lord your God goes with you.” – Deuteronomy 31:6*

Let Your Prayers Shape History

Whether or not a case makes national news, every decision has spiritual weight. Your prayers matter—this month and every month. Set aside time to intercede, and invite others to do the same. Let’s contend together for a Supreme Court that aligns with Heaven’s heart.
